International Climate Change Day
Today, October 24, we celebrate International Climate Change Day, a day to reflect on the urgency of taking action against the environmental deterioration of our planet.
Climate change, driven by human activity, is altering ecosystems and threatening life as we know it. In 2024, CO₂ emissions reached a record 37.8 billion tons, 1% more than in 2023. Deforestation also reached an all-time high, with 6.7 million hectares of tropical forest lost.
At Re-uz, we fight climate change by actively promoting the circular economy and the use of reusable packaging. Thanks to our products and services (rental, sanitation, and comprehensive management), we have avoided large tons of single-use plastic waste at events. But individual action is also key! How can you contribute?
- Save energy: Turn off lights and appliances when not in use and choose energy-efficient devices.
- Sustainable mobility: Choose cycling, public transportation, or walking.
- Buy local products.
- Recycle and reuse.
Together, we can build a more sustainable future!
