Cruïlla Festival implements the Re-uz reusable containers return system!

This 15th anniversary, Cruïlla Festival has taken a decisive step toward sustainability by implementing a Re-uz reusable containers return system at the event's food trucks. With 57,500 Re-uz containers distributed, Cruïlla is positioned among the most sustainable festivals on the Iberian Peninsula, consolidating a realistic and effective approach to the circular economy and waste reduction.
Attendees purchased the containers with a €2 deposit, managed through a cashless wristband, and were able to easily return them at designated drop-off points. Audience involvement has been key to the system's success, demonstrating that sustainability is a collective commitment.
Re-uz supplied, collected, sanitized, and stored the packaging, completing an efficient and advanced circular reuse cycle with high standards of hygiene, control, and logistics, perfectly suited to large-scale events like Cruïlla.
Every returned container drives the change that protects our planet.
